  1. love the pic of where skateboards go to die, something we don’t often see presented as interesting however it raises questions of the life lived around that area, where are the skateboarders and what else occurs in that pice of land ?
    cool pic

    1. Thanks. I like that one too. What’s even more interesting is that the skateboards are on a piece of concrete jutting out from under a footbridge which crosses the Thames. The place is inaccessible to pedestrians. It is as though skaters are deliberately going onto the bridge to throw their boards down there.

      1. like the boards last jump, cool, you have a good eye, im glad i found your blog

  2. Stunning images. Makes me want to visit London so badly. What were the pills about?

    1. Thanks Jessica. I’m not really sure what the pills were about. They were an exhibit in the Africa section of the British Museum. I didn’t get round to reading the explanation so your guess is as good as mine.

  3. Great pics. London is one of the loves of my life. I enjoyed your Iraq posts. Looking forwards to some London reflections.

I think the pills exhibit is the average number of pills a person in the developed world will take in their life time. Or the number of different types of pills… . Anyway, something a long these lines.

    🙂

    1. Thanks. Glad you liked the pics. And thanks for the insight about the pills. Very interesting.

  4. London is a great city, visited it 5 times… yet I still think its overrated.

  5. London is impressive but I’ve never really warmed to it myself: a day is long enough for me . However, it’s always good to take a fresh look at things. Your photos are really good: I particularly like the people descending past the mosaics without apparently noticing them
